No really... I built this site from the ground up, and have a well-established track-record in the quality website building business.

"...
I stepped off the concrete platform that the ferry docks on, and splashed into the Zambezi to take the photos, smirking with self-righteous satisfaction at the fact that I was the only photographer amongst the cargo-pants, khaki-wearing European safari-set who was willing to get dirty in order to get the shot. I snapped off as fast as I could, quickly filling and refilling my camera's buffer, and then realised with horror...
'You idiot!
This is the Zambezi you're standing in!'

My online blog is slowly filling with articles on all manner of topics, and you may even discover rare photos hidden in the verbiage!
If you have some time on your hands, feel free to browse through some of my online blog posts.
Here you will find sometimes coherent, usually articulate, often thought-provoking, and hopefully entertaining reading on sundry topics that may or may not be photography related.
Planned subject matter for this year includes:
- a look back at my travels through Mozambique, including one that very nearly ended very badly for one of the members of our party,
- a visit to an outreach-farm situated in the copper-belt province of Zambia, where the nuts-and-bolts of every-day human activity succesfully partners with a spiritual focus,
- visits to Orange Farm - Gauteng's southern-most township - to explore some of the deplorable conditions being experienced by people living there,
- tips for building your own photographic studio on a shoestring budget,
- the intricacies and absurdities of life and business on the web,
- whatever else may pop up unexpectedly (like the current load-shedding, for instance)...
You can therefore expect challenging and somewhat serious topics from time to time, and while I can't guarantee Pulitzer award-winning reading, I'm pretty sure that for the most part, it's also going to be fun!
